The Oneness

We believe in the Oneness of God, which teaches that God is one, not existing in three separate persons, but as a single divine essence manifesting in various roles. God expresses Himself as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit in our lives today. We recognize that God is the Creator and the source of all life, revealing Himself to humanity in different ways to fulfill His divine purpose. We believe that understanding the Oneness of God is essential for knowing His will and His purpose for us. By embracing this truth, we can deepen our relationship with the Lord and gain a clearer understanding of His plans for our lives.

Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, the ultimate revelation of the divine. He is the central figure of Christianity, fully God and fully man. Jesus came to our world as the Word made flesh, sent to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, granting us the opportunity for eternal life with Him. His teachings on love, forgiveness, humility, and repentance are foundational to our faith. We affirm Jesus’ resurrection as both proof of His divine nature and the assurance of eternal life for all who believe in Him. We are called to follow Jesus, embodying His holiness and sharing the transformative message of the gospel. As we strive to love and serve others, we reflect on Jesus’ perfect example of love and sacrifice. (John 1:12; John 14:17, 23; John 15:4; Romans 8:11; Revelation 3:20)

Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is the active presence of God in our lives, not a separate third person in a Trinity. The Holy Spirit serves as the unifying power between God and humanity, providing comfort, guidance, and strength. He helps us to understand and appreciate the Bible, enabling us to live out its teachings daily. We believe that the Holy Spirit is always with us, faithfully guiding our walk with God. Additionally, the Holy Spirit bestows gifts such as wisdom, knowledge, understanding, healing, miracles, tongues, and prophecy, empowering us to serve God and spread His love effectively. (Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5,2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6).

Salvation

We believe in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, emphasizing the necessity of repentance, baptism in Jesus' name, and receiving the Holy Spirit. We affirm that Jesus was sent by God to save us and offer eternal life. Salvation is possible only through genuine faith in Jesus and a heartfelt repentance of our sins. We understand that we are saved by grace, but that this grace requires our response through obedience to God's Word. The Bible teaches that God's love and grace are always available, no matter our past mistakes. By accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, being baptized in His name, and receiving the Holy Spirit, we gain the assurance of salvation and the promise of eternal life with God.

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer, both individually and corporately, as an expression of faith in God's work in our lives. Prayer is an essential part of a Christian life and is used to talk to God and to communicate with Him. We pray for guidance, strength, healing, protection, and for our families, friends, and community. Through prayer, we seek to deepen our understanding of God's will and His plans for our lives. Praying helps us grow closer to God and to gain a better understanding of His will and how we can best serve Him. When we pray, we open ourselves up to God and He will answer us in His own way and in His own time. Prayer is a beautiful and powerful way to communicate with our Heavenly Father and to seek His love and guidance.

Sacraments

Water Baptism: Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the new convert is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, which is in the Name of Jesus. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48).

The Lord's Supper: A unique time of communion in the presence of God when the elements of bread and grape juice (the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ) 'are taken in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross (Matthew 26:26-29; I Corinthians 10:16, 11:23-25).

Marriage: We believe marriage is defined in the Bible as a covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman, instituted by and publicly entered into before God (Matthew 19:4-6).

The Church

The church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus' Great Commission. Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20-23).
